OPENING HOURS

Monday - Friday 07.30 - 18.00 for 52 weeks of the year.

The Nursery will close at 1pm on Christmas eve and New Year

We are also closed for statutory Bank Holidays however these days are chargeable
(please see Admissions section for more details).
Specific details will be provided in advance of any closure times.
Please ask to see our policy for out of hours care and late collections.

OUR PEOPLE

We believe that our team are as important a feature of the nursery as our facilities and that matching the needs of the children to an appropriately qualified member of the team is high on our priority list.

We also hold regular meetings to ensure that all staff are made aware of any changes or updates and ensure that the best attention is given to the children in our care. We consider ourselves to be an equal opportunities employer. If you’d like to join the team please apply in writing.

Nursery Manager
We have a dedicated nursery manager who’s responsibility it is to oversee the day-to-day care of children and staff including routines, activities, nursery environment and any specific needs of individual children.

Team
All members of staff will have relevant childcare qualifications and understand the EYFS principles.
All team members are thoroughly vetted, checked and follow an induction programme as well as attending relevant professional trainings. They are subject to Criminal Records Bureau clearance, and regular appraisals and review of performance ensures they follow on-going training courses in order to reflect on and improve practice with up to date knowledge.

Key persons/Supervision
Every child is assigned a key person at the time of admission to enable child and mentor to form a secure bond through their time at nursery in order to build confidence and understanding of the child’s needs. The keyworker is also responsible for observing the child’s interests and activities whilst at the nursery along with combining feedback from parents to support a child’s individual needs and provide a flexible approach to learning. This process is continued as the child moves to the next age group.
